Torre Alta Pinot Grigio Rose 2016, Veneto
Origin: The Botter family have a long established relationship with local producers. The beautiful pink colour is achieved by carefully blending 5% Merlot rnto the Pinot Grigio.
Grape: Pinot Grigio Merlot
Taste: This wine shows why rose is so popular. Beautiful soft strawberry flavours wtth floral notes
Alfredini Garganega Pinot Grigio 2016, Veneto
Origin: Garganega is the most important variety of white wine grape grown in the provinces of Verona and Vicenza in the Veneto region, Pinot Grrgio is grown in the same area where the climate is influenced by the Alps
Grape: Garganega, Pinot Grigio
Taste: Light in colour, refreshing, and crisp and with aromas of limes, grapefruits and lemons making this well balanced wine very easy to drink.
Five Foot Track Chardonnay 2016, South Eastern Australia
Origin: The producers of Five Foot Track are well established in the Riverina region. The grapes for this Chardonnay are sourced from a number of vineyards cultivated to Warburn’s own specifications, and vinified and matured at cool temperatures.
Taste: Pale straw yellow with youthfulgreen hues. A nose of citrus fruits and ripe apples, with underlying notes of vanilla. Crisp lemon and Iime on the palate served up with a rounded and buttery feel.
La Gioiosa Spumante
Origin: The Moretti Polegato family have been making wine for 3 generations and chose the name Gioiosa meaning joyous as this is reflects the fresh and fruity character of their sparkling wines.
Grape: Prosecco, Chardonnay Pinot Blanc
Taste: This is a delicate wine with fresh apple and floral flavours. lt is well balanced with fine bubbles and a pleasingly dry finish.
Aires Andinos Malbec 2016, Mendoza
Origin: The Mendoza region is Argentina most important wine growing region. Vineyards are planted at an altitude of between 600 and 1,100 metres above sea level, in the shadow of the Andes Mountains. Mendoza’s Alluvial rich soils account for 70% of Argentina’s wine production.
Taste: Deep ruby coloured with smoky black fruits of cassis, blackberry and spice. The concentration of the wine performs well above its price point with soft tannins and a long finish.
Vina Carassco Merlot and Sauvignon
Origin: From the winery is the largest family-owned winery in Chile, still managed today by the founder and his three children. Winemaking here is managed by Nicolas Bizzarri, formerly of the famous Robert Mondavi wines in Napa Valley.
The Merlot has aromas of ripe plums and strawberries, with faint notes of tomato leaf and sage. The palate has a thick and jammy feel, with soft, mature tannins and a rounded, easy style.
The Sauvignon is thoroughly citrussy on the nose, with fresh lime and lemon forming the aromatic backdrop. More citrus on the palate, accompanied by a riper hint of pineapple, and mouthwatering acidity.
A medium-dry White Zinfandel rose with ripe red fruits and a touch of sweetness to soften the palate
